Wilks fendering was approached to deliver a solution to the Sainsbury’s store in Beckton. Its role was to act as a buffer around the loading bays which led to the suggestion of PVC 2448.

The job brief from Sainsbury’s was to eliminate the risk of the gap between vehicle and loading bay above the original buffer and to provide a visual warning to the driver and loaders.

As a solution, PVC 2448 was manufactured in bright yellow and fitted to the topmost area.

The yellow is clearly visible to the driver of the vehicle when reversing. It also clearly defines the edge of the loading bay to those working on it.
